Canon Utilities RAW Image Task is part of the 2CDs package containing software, utilities and applications given to customers after purchasing a Canon Digital. Raw Image Task is an utility we cannot use on its own as it needs ZoomBrowser to run. In fact when we download and install the ZoomBrowser we have the Raw Image Task program included. First of all we have to take photo with our camera opting for the RAW format instead of the JPEG or use both for comparison. By using this tool, after transferring the photographs to the computer, we can set the parameters to them before editing. We can also compare both image in RAW and JPEG and decide what adjustment we can apply to the RAW images for a better quality before saving them, one by one, in the Picture Style File. We can access this tool via the ZoomBrowser interface, selecting Tools in the Menu Toolbar, then Process RAW images and finally selecting the RAW photos taken with our Camera. RAW Image Task is valid for the following cameras: EOS 450D, 5D, 10D, 20D, 20Da, 30D,300D, 350D, D30, D60, 1Ds Mark III,40D, 1D Mark III, 400D DIGITAL, 1D, 1Ds, 1D Mark II,1Ds Mark II, and 1D Mark II N. It runs under Windows 2000,XP&Vista. |
